Job summary

CMC is seeking an IT Asset Management professional to manage hardware and software records in ServiceNow from procurement to retirement. You will validate data, coordinate asset transfers, and support audits across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, compliance with lifecycle controls, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to optimize asset utilization.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in IT asset management or related field preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow asset management and ITSM workflows.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain hardware and software asset records in ServiceNow throughout the lifecycle.
• Order, inspect, tag, inventory, stock, assign, and retire assets per procedures.
• Validate asset data: serial number, location, ownership, cost center, lifecycle dates.
• Reconcile records with inventories and procurement data; resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare bulk asset data updates using approved templates and data-quality controls.
