Job summary

Twilio is seeking a Principal Presales Engineer for its ISV team. You will lead technical pre-sales, drive architectural discussions, and demonstrate Twilio’s APIs to executives and engineers alike.

You will be autonomous, collaborating with product and solutions engineers to design and deliver complex opportunities, mentoring peers and guiding customers to the right technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years pre-sales or 10+ years in delivery with customer-facing work.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with executive audiences.
• Ability to understand customer telecom needs and map to technical solutions.
• Software development knowledge or hands-on experience in related areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities: demos, POC, RFPs, design docs, and enablement.
• Guide customers on API usage and best-practice solutions.
• Establish trust with customers by uncovering technical pains via discovery.
• Deliver interactive product demonstrations and build strong relationships.
• Be hands-on and motivate others to achieve success.
• Identify problems and drive solutions across the org.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and reusable materials.
• Mentor junior Solutions Engineers.
