Job summary

Twilio seeks a Principal Presales Engineer for its Strategic team to lead technical discovery, architect solutions, and demonstrate Twilio products to senior stakeholders.

You will drive technical demonstrations, PoCs, and design workshops, while guiding customers through complex evaluations and ensuring best-fit architectures. Strong communication with CEOs and engineers is essential in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills across at least multiple levels of an organization.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions and architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and API-based products.
• Background in pre-sales, consulting, or delivery with customer-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities including demonstrations, PoC, RFPs, and technical enablement sessions.
• Drive technical discovery and propose product architectures that fit customer needs.
• Build and present interactive product demos to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on architectural decisions and collateral.
• Mentor junior Solutions Engineers and contribute to the wider engineering community.
