Job summary

Twilio, a remote-first company, seeks a Senior Presales Engineer for its Strategic Communications team. You will lead technical pre-sales, showcase Twilio’s API-driven solutions, and guide customers toward optimal architectures in a high-impact sales environment.

You’ll engage with mid-level managers and engineers, run PoCs, and collaborate across product and sales teams to win opportunities, often working remotely with occasional in-person gatherings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years pre-sales or 6+ years in delivery/consulting with customer-facing experience.
• Excellent communicator with presentation skills.
• Ability to map customer needs to technical solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-sales activities: qualification, demonstrations, PoC, RFP, design docs, enablement sessions.
• Lead technical and product sale, guiding customers to best-practice solutions and API usage.
• Build trust by discovery to design, demonstrate and present innovative solutions.
• Deliver highly interactive product demonstrations to showcase Twilio’s capabilities to diverse stakeholders.
• Be hands-on and lead others toward success while solving problems.
• Identify and resolve issues to improve deal velocity and team efficiency.
• Contribute to Solutions Engineering by creating reusable materials and demos.
