Job summary

RTX is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support our cybersecurity team onsite at our facility in Andover, Massachusetts. You will interface with the ISM to ensure adherence to RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM and related policies.

You will perform system compliance, auditing, security plan development, and information security education. A university degree with 2 years of relevant experience is typical, and within six months you must obtain Security+ or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Familiarity with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM and other security standards is preferred.
• Experience with compliance-based auditing and security controls is desired.

Responsibilities

• System compliance, auditing, security plan development, and security education.
• Investigate information system security violations and prepare corrective actions reports.
• Collaborate with facility security, program personnel, and government representatives.
• Security sustainment activities including hardware and software change management.
