Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to oversee cybersecurity compliance across programs onsite. You will mentor ISSOs, review policies, and ensure RMF and NIST controls are properly implemented.

The role requires a secret clearance, DoD/NIST experience, and hands-on leadership in a large defense environment. Onsite work is required with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM, DAAPM and other government/regulatory standards.
• Hands-on with cybersecurity tools such as Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools.
• Support ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers in the creation, review and update of cybersecurity documentation.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
• Intermittent travel to other RTX locations (10-20%).
