Job summary

RTX is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for 100% onsite work at our McKinney, TX facility. The candidate will ensure compliance, audit readiness, and security plan development, interfacing with the ISSM and government representatives.

The ideal candidate has a university degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree, plus familiarity with RMF, JSIG, NISPOM, and related standards. DoD/classified environments experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
• Experience with RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and/or related regulations.
• Experience with audit reviews (physical security, logs, access control).
• DoD classified environments experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system compliance and audit readiness.
• Develop security plans and provide security education.
• Investigate information security violations and prepare corrective actions.
• Collaborate with security team, program personnel, and government reps.
