Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to support our 100% onsite team in Tewksbury, MA. The role emphasizes adherence to NIST SPs, DAAPM, JSIG, and related directives with the ISSM coordination.

You will assess compliance, lead security education, investigate violations, and help update cybersecurity documentation while working in a DoD-aligned environment.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG, DAAPM, and NISPOM is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity controls and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor system compliance, audit readiness, and security plan development.
• Investigate information system security violations and document actions taken.
• Review and approve configuration management requests within authority.
• Contribute to security documentation, assessments, and administrative tasks.
• Support integration of new cybersecurity processes and tools.
