Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to manage real-time security events from our on-site Security Operations Center in Missouri. You will handle live audio communications, verify alarms, and coordinate with emergency services to resolve incidents, ensuring clear, authoritative interactions with customers and sites.

The role demands strong communication, quick decision-making, and experience with alarm verification, video monitoring, and rapid de-escalation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and care.
• Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide timely, accurate responses to requests.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks and virtual tours of customer locations, observing potential vulnerabilities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during business openings/closings and requests.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take action based on severity, including contacting emergency services when needed.
• Answer inbound calls to assist with security and system inquiries from customers, employees and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the automation system.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals and perform video verification of alarms.
• Notify specified individuals via phone of alarms or events per customer instructions.
• Provide life safety dispatch to emergency personnel and basic alarm support.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events, using two-way audio to intervene on-site.
• Handle loitering, trespassing or other violations with de-escalation and rapid decisions.
• Document interactions and generate detailed reports on responses and interventions.
