Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to manage real-time incidents, alarms, and live interactions with monitored sites from our St. Louis office.

You will verify alarms, coordinate with customers and emergency services, and escalate appropriately in a fast-paced security operations center. The role emphasizes two-way audio communications, rapid decision-making, and de-escalation in critical events, with training provided and a competitive starting rate of $22/hour plus shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and care.
• Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide timely, accurate responses to requests.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks/virtual tours of customer locations, observing areas for vulnerabilities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during opening/closing or on request.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take action based on severity, including contacting customers and emergency services when needed.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve or escalate security and system inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records in the system of record and documentation.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals and verify incidents via video.
• Notify designated individuals per customer instructions.
• Provide critical life safety support and clear dispatch to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and reset assistance.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events and interactions with monitored sites.
• Use two-way audio to intervene during real-time incidents and de-escalate as required.
• Handle loitering, trespassing, or other violations with de-escalation when possible.
• Document all interactions and ensure follow-up; generate detailed incident reports.
