Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer in the United States to lead ISBM tooling projects, mold design, and process validation. You will coordinate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and vendors to ensure safe, high-quality production across manufacturing sites.

The role requires 5–8 years in plastics packaging, ISBM tooling experience, and strong DOE/statistics skills. This position offers a competitive package and opportunities for process leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling engineering.
• Experience with ISBM tooling and vendor management.
• PM experience preferred and PET packaging exposure valued.
• Experience with DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis.
• Startup and production readiness experience is a plus.
• Strong CAD and tooling documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs and cycle times.
• Develop tooling standards and documentation; manage vendor tooling.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and productivity.
• Drive projects from concept to implementation and BOMs.
