Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Automation & Observability Engineer for a remote role in the United States. You will lead monitoring, observability, and automation efforts across enterprise infrastructure, IoT platforms, and telemetry ecosystems.

The role collaborates with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, and Service Delivery teams to ensure high availability and performance. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Grafana, Instana, Prometheus, and logging/telemetry platforms, and can drive RCA

Qualifications

7 to 10+ years of experience in Monitoring, Observability, Infrastructure Operations, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
Hands-on experience with Grafana, Instana, SolarWinds, Telegraf, Prometheus, and InfluxDB.
Experience with FOAK applications and Enterprise Logging & Telemetry (ELT) platforms.
Strong troubleshooting, RCA, incident management, and operational support skills.
Experience with automation frameworks and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible preferred).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.
Automate operational tasks, monitoring deployments, and remediation workflows.
Coordinate incident resolution with cross-functional teams during outages.
Administer IBM Instana monitoring environments and configure alerts.
Configure alerts, baselines, and performance thresholds.
