Ensono seeks an Expert Automation & Observability Engineer to lead enterprise observability, SRE, and platform engineering across hybrid clouds and Kubernetes. You will drive a unified, automated observability framework, implement FOAK technology, and mentor global teams to improve service reliability.

The role emphasizes Observability-as-Code, APM, and integration with ITSM and CI/CD in a remote, US-based environment with strong governance and cost controls.

Qualifications

12+ years in IT with leadership as Lead Architect/SRE/Observability Engineer in a large enterprise.
Experience migrating from legacy monitoring to proactive observability platforms.
Hands-on in building scalable telemetry pipelines and time-series databases.

Responsibilities

Architect and govern a unified observability framework covering metrics, logs, traces, and events.
Lead FOAK implementations and evaluate new observability tech.
Define telemetry pipelines, data retention, and cost management.
Define SLIs/SLOs and incident war rooms with RCA.
Drive Observability-as-Code and automation across deployments.
