Job summary

Ensono in the United States is seeking an Expert Observability Engineer to lead the enterprise observability, APM, and telemetry initiatives. You will shift from reactive monitoring to a proactive, automated framework across hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, and legacy systems, designing scalable architectures and driving SRE practices.

This role requires deep stack knowledge (Instana, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), strong leadership, and hands-on delivery experience across OCI/AWS/GCP.

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT experience with 5–7 years as Lead Architect/SRE/Observability Engineer.
• Proven migration of legacy monitoring to proactive observability platforms.
• Hands-on experience building scalable telemetry pipelines and time-series databases.
• Experience leading FOAK rollouts and complex vendor transitions.

Responsibilities

• Architect a unified observability framework across metrics, logs, traces, and events.
• Lead FOAK implementations and evaluate new observability tech.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and supervise incident RCA and postmortems.
• Drive Observability-as-Code and automation across platforms.
