Job summary
Ensono is seeking an experienced Senior IoT/Observability Engineer to monitor, automate, and optimize enterprise infrastructure, IoT platforms, and telemetry ecosystems. You will work with Grafana, IBM Instana, Prometheus, and ELT/FOAK initiatives across cross-functional teams.
The role emphasizes design, automation, 24x7 operations, incident management, and continuous improvement in a remote US-based setting.
Qualifications
- Experience in monitoring and observability engineering for enterprise-scale infrastructure and applications.
- Proficiency with Grafana, Instana, Prometheus, and telemetry pipelines.
- Ability to automate monitoring and data collection using Telegraf and related agents.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.
- Develop dashboards, alerts, and visualizations using Grafana.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, IoT services using Instana, Grafana, SolarWinds, and related tools.
- Configure and manage data collection using Telegraf, Prometheus, and agents.
- Analyze metrics, logs, traces, events for performance bottlenecks and degradation.
- Support SLO, SLA, and operational health monitoring initiatives.
- Perform RCA and troubleshooting for infra and app issues.
