Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Investor Reporting Supervisor to oversee the investor reporting function for assigned groups and to staff workflows to meet monthly contractual requirements. The role handles escalations in investor accounting, balancing accounts, and ensuring compliance across complex reporting projects.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and at least five years of investor accounting/ reporting experience, with one year in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of related experience in investor accounting and reporting.
• One (1) or more years of Team Lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly reports and remittances and submit to the correct party designated by agreement, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Monitor assignments to meet deadlines for investors/trustees.
• Lead staff to resolve reporting issues with the trust and ensure compliance and timeliness.
• Prepare complex reports and make independent judgments on data presentation for compliance.
• Hire and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; monitor performance and address problems.
• Communicate with investors on reporting and cash remittances.
• Set up systems for new investors/blocks based on pooling and servicing agreements.
• Balance interim cash, borrower suspense and unapplied funds; ensure funds are in house from prior servicer before boarding.
• Support special projects and provide information to resolve issues.
• Lead special projects, conduct research, and identify solutions.
• Review policy and procedure changes to improve processes.
• Train and mentor lower level staff for compliance and growth.
• Review pooling and servicing agreements for new deals and request new bank accounts.
• Develop processes and documentation for smooth handoffs to analysts.
• Collaborate with analysts to improve reporting and reconciliation methods.
• Participate in interviews and provide feedback for performance reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
