Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to manage enterprise ingress and edge connectivity across cloud and virtualized environments. You will focus on reliable traffic delivery, platform availability, and continuous improvement of security, monitoring and automation.

The role emphasizes load balancing, DNS, TLS, and certificate services, with responsibilities spanning onboarding, changes, and incident response in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT field.
• 5+ years in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, or related roles.
• Experience troubleshooting end-to-end application traffic across DNS, TLS, load balancers, and cloud networking.
• Experience with incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross‑team coordination skills.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call support and after‑hours changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administration and ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, capacity and risk.
• Troubleshoot DNS, TLS, load balancing, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, major incident coordination, and operational escalations.
• Participate in on‑call support, service restoration and planned maintenance.
