Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise ingress and edge connectivity across cloud and virtualized environments. You will manage load balancers, DNS, certificates, and security controls to ensure reliable application delivery.

The role focuses on platform availability, operational efficiency, and scalable infrastructure, with on-call rotations and collaboration across cloud, network, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting end-to-end application traffic across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments using formal incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after-hours changes, and on-call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and operational ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, performance, capacity, and operational risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, certificate, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, problem management, major incident coordination, and operational escalations.
• Participate in on-call support, service restoration, and planned maintenance activities.
