Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to manage enterprise ingress services, DNS, TLS, load balancing, and security across cloud and hybrid environments. You will own operational delivery, automation, and continuous improvement for scalable application delivery and edge connectivity.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cloud, network, and security teams, on-call support, and lifecycle management, with a modern hybrid work model and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting end-to-end application traffic flows across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments using formal incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after-hours changes, and on-call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and operational ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, performance, capacity, and operational risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, certificate, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, problem management, major incident coordination, and operational escalations.
• Participate in on-call support, service restoration, and planned maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with cloud, network, firewall, WAF, application, and vendor teams to resolve cross-platform issues.
