Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support the operational management, availability, security, and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery and ingress services.

The role focuses on load balancing platforms, ingress services, DNS integration, certificate services, and edge security, across cloud and virtualized environments, with on-call duties and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments with incident, change, and problem management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after-hours changes, and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, capacity, and risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, certificate, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, problem management, major incident coordination, and escalations.
• Participate in on-call support, service restoration, and planned maintenance.
