Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to manage enterprise ingress, edge connectivity, and application delivery across cloud and virtualized environments. You will own load balancing platforms, DNS/tls management, and security controls while driving automation and platform standardization.

Responsibilities include incident coordination, on‑call participation, and cross‑team collaboration to ensure reliable traffic delivery and service resilience for EY’s global applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in networking, cloud infrastructure, or related platform engineering roles.
• Experience troubleshooting DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, and cloud networking.
• Strong incident/change management and documentation skills.
• Ability to work across teams and participate in on‑call support.

Responsibilities

• Own ingress and edge connectivity service administration and operations.
• Monitor health, availability, performance, capacity, and risk across platforms.
• Troubleshoot routing, load balancing, DNS, TLS, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, major incidents, and planned maintenance.
• Collaborate with cloud, network, firewall, WAF, and vendor teams to resolve issues.
• Build and manage IaC using Terraform and Git workflows.
• Maintain runbooks, standards, and platform documentation.
