Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to manage the operational delivery of enterprise traffic across cloud and virtualized environments. You will oversee load balancing platforms, DNS, SSL/TLS, and edge security controls while driving automation and governance.

The role emphasizes production stability, platform availability, and scalable infrastructure, with collaboration across cloud, network, and security teams in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, and cloud networking end-to-end.
• Experience in highly available production environments and formal incident/change management.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
• Willingness to participate in scheduled maintenance and after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and operational ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor health, availability, performance, capacity, and risk; troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate with cloud, network, firewall, WAF, and vendor teams to resolve cross-platform issues.
• On-call participation, incident response, problem management, and maintenance.
• Automate configuration and improve platform consistency through IaC practices.
