Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a technically skilled Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support operational management, security, performance and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery services.

This role covers load balancing platforms, ingress services, DNS integration, certificate services, edge security controls, and infrastructure automation across cloud and virtualized environments, with a focus on reliable traffic delivery and platform resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting end‑to‑end application traffic flows across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments using formal incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross‑team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after‑hours changes, and on‑call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and operational ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, performance, capacity, and operational risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, certificate, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, problem management, major incident coordination, and operational escalations.
• Participate in on-call support, service restoration, and planned maintenance activities.
