Job summary

Salesforce Internal Audit is seeking an experienced leader to shape and execute the IA program. You will drive strategy, modernize QAIP, and advance a scalable audit methodology that enables continuous risk intelligence and advisory services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in internal audit operations/professional practices, audit, or IT audit.
• Relevant professional certification (CIA, CPA/CA, CISA, PMP).
• Deep, practical command of the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and Topical Requirements - enough to lead the QAIP and defend methodology decisions.
• Experience in a QAIP, professional practices, or External Quality Assessment capacity within a large internal audit function.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills, with the operational discipline to run recurring rhythms reliably.
• A track record of deploying AI, automation, or analytics to change how work actually gets done.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools.
• Strong writing and executive communication, translating complex methodology into plain language for auditors, business partners, and the Board.
• Proven ability to drive adoption and change across a global team without direct supervisory authority.
• Comfort operating at pace with limited precedent, and the judgment to know which processes add the most value.
• Experience at scale - high-growth or large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the IA Org strategy, coordinate inputs from audit leaders, track progress, and flag risks.
• Build processes and tooling for the agentic era, redesigning workflows with people and agents.
• Lead the QAIP to provide forward-looking quality insights and continuous improvement.
• Evolve the IA methodology for assurance, continuous risk intelligence, and advisory services.
• Turn data into decisions by analyzing performance metrics and trends.
• Cultivate the agentic auditors of the future, guiding training in AI, data, and collaboration.
• Deploy the team through capacity planning, allocation, and schedule accuracy.
• Bring the team together with town halls and global summits for alignment.
• Support the Board by preparing Audit & Finance Committee materials.
• Tell our story with internal communications and grow the IA brand externally.
