Job summary

NELSON in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our Workplace Practice. You will lead design concepts, coordinate with project teams, and guide the project from programming through construction documentation.

The role requires advanced space planning, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM, and strong client presentation skills. You’ll mentor teammates and help deliver high-quality interiors for leading clients, with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent required.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes and FF&E.
• Experience with client presentations and design development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design concepts and space planning for projects.
• Coordinate with project team and consultants.
• Prepare schematic design and design development documents.
• Present design concepts to clients and manage documentation.
