Job summary

NELSON Worldwide seeks a Senior Interior Designer to join our Workplace Practice. Lead design efforts, mentor teammates, and partner with the PM to deliver high-quality interiors for top clients. Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and FF&E is essential.

You will participate in client presentations, programming, schematic design, and design development, coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure project success and adherence to budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited University.
• 8+ years of experience in Architecture or related field.
• Strong knowledge of interior design, FF&E, finishes, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design team’s design efforts.
• Partner with Project Manager to deliver project goals.
• Lead design charrettes and team meetings.
• Mentor and evaluate design staff.
• Develop relationships with consultants, contractors and clients.
• Produce architectural documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare client presentations and project deliverables.
• Ensure design intent and quality through documentation and reviews.
• Support business development and fee proposals.
