Job summary

NELSON Worldwide in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our Workplace Practice. You will lead design efforts, develop concepts, and coordinate with clients and consultants to deliver projects from programming through FF&E specification.

You must have strong space planning, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, and the ability to present design concepts to clients. Growth exists within a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; 8+ years in architecture/interiors.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FF&E, finishes, lighting, color and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design team; partner with Project Manager to deliver project goals.
• Lead design charrettes, client meetings and presentations.
• Develop design concepts, space planning, and documentation from SD to DD.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors; ensure design intent.
