Job summary

NELSON is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its Workplace Practice. You will lead complex interior design assignments from planning through design development and construction documents, collaborating with clients and project teams.

You will apply advanced knowledge of FF&E, finishes, lighting and design detailing, while mentoring teammates and ensuring adherence to NELSON standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in architecture/interiors.
• NCIDQ or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FF&E, finishes, lighting, and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in design charrettes and meetings.
• Develop design concepts within client goals and budget.
• Produce architectural documents using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure design intent.
• Mentor design staff and support inclusive teamwork.
