Amazon seeks a Sr. Program Manager to join the Startup Integrated Planning team within GEMS.

You will lead a team of contracted planners and drive integrated scheduling across North America infrastructure projects, coordinating with design, operations, construction, IT, and engineering to scale planning maturity. Based in Nashville area, this role requires up to 50% travel in the US/Canada and a strong track record in complex program delivery, scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera), and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, lookups, complex formulas).
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience with cross-functional tech and non-tech teams.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
• 5+ years of integrated scheduling experience (MS Project/Primavera P6).
• Experience applying AI tools and automation to scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Shape and advance the workforce and vendor strategy for contracted planners.
• Oversee contracted project planners: set expectations, provide training, review deliverables.
• Assign and rebalance planners across projects by priority and workload.
• Track project budgets, manage invoicing, and provide funding inputs.
• Refine quality standards for integrated schedules and governance.
• Design and implement governance to validate schedule quality at scale.
• Ensure weekly planning status reports are accurate and timely.
• Develop SOPs and improve planning tools, templates, and automation.
• Identify and lead initiatives to advance planning maturity and automation.
• Provide data-driven status reporting to senior leadership.
