Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead the Startup Integrated Planning team within the GEMS organization. You will oversee a team of contracted planners, shape strategy, and ensure high-quality, scalable scheduling across North America infrastructure projects.

You will manage cross-functional partnerships, drive governance, and mature planning practices in a rapidly scaling environment, with up to 50% travel in the US/Canada and relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of integrated scheduling experience including MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Experience applying AI tools and automation to scale program operations.

Responsibilities

• Shape and advance the workforce and vendor strategy for contracted planners.
• Oversee contracted project planners: set expectations and review deliverables.
• Track project budgets and provide funding inputs for planning resources.
• Refine and enforce quality standards for integrated project schedules.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for planning activities.
• Design governance mechanisms to validate schedule quality at scale.
