Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join engagement teams and deliver consulting services across life insurance, annuity and group benefits. You will work within the BTG practice to reimagine and modernize client platforms, gaining exposure to multiple stages of the insurance value chain and working with onshore/offshore teams.

You will lead platform delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior members while promoting Agile/SAFe practices and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in Life, annuity, and Group benefits insurance lines.
• Experience delivering on PAS platforms (FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro) or comparable.
• Knowledge of Life & Annuity value chain: product configuration, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, and claims.
• Experience with onshore/offshore delivery models and working with clients and vendors.
• Familiarity with APIs, middleware, and data migration.
• Excellent business, communication, and presentation skills; strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of platform solutions aligned with objectives, architecture standards and programs.
• Manage delivery planning, scope, risks, issues, and milestones across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate platform configuration, integration, and implementation with business, tech and vendors.
• Translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans and roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory, and operational objectives.
• Monitor program health and drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Support governance forums with status updates and delivery insights.
• Promote Agile/SAFe practices, testing, releases, and DevOps readiness.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement.
