Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join EY engagement teams, delivering consulting services for life insurance, group benefits, and retirement clients. You will contribute to the BTG practice, helping clients reimagine and modernize to create long-term value.

You will learn leading practices in technology transformation, delivery, and gain exposure to complex business challenges across the insurance value chain, including product development, underwriting, policy administration, and claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant working experience.
• 3+ years’ experience across any of the following lines of insurance: Life, annuity, and Group benefits.
• Experience with policy administration platforms such as FAST (Verisk), FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro, or comparable PAS.
• Working knowledge of the Life & Annuity value chain including product configuration, new business/underwriting, policy administration, servicing, and claims.
• Program/project/workstream management in an on-shore/off-shore delivery model with clients and vendors.
• Hands-on familiarity with platform configuration and integration, including APIs, middleware, and data migration.
• Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of platform solutions, ensuring alignment with objectives and standards.
• Manage delivery planning, execution, scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones across teams.
• Coordinate platform configuration, integration, and implementation across business, tech, and vendors.
• Translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans and roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions align with architecture, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor program health and delivery performance, driving risk mitigation.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Support governance forums with status updates and recommendations.
• Promote Agile/SAFe delivery, testing, release management, DevOps, and readiness.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement.
