Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join EY engagement teams, deliver consulting services and develop business with our clients in life insurance, group benefits and retirement. The role sits within the Business Transformation and Growth (BTG) practice, helping clients reimagine, modernize and disrupt how they succeed in the market.

You will lead platform solutions, coordinate cross-functional delivery, manage risks, and promote Agile/SAFe practices while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant working experience.
3+ years’ experience in Life, annuity, and Group benefits.
Experience with policy administration platforms: FAST (Verisk), FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro, or comparable PAS.
Knowledge of the Life & Annuity value chain: product configuration, new business/underwriting, policy administration, servicing, and claims.
Program or workstream management in onshore/offshore delivery with clients and vendors.
Hands-on familiarity with platform configuration and integration (APIs, middleware, data migration).
Excellent business, communication and presentation skills; strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with speaking to larger audiences and executive level professionals.
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
Strong experience with Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of platform solutions, aligning with business objectives and architecture standards.
Manage delivery planning, execution, scope, risks, issues, and milestones across cross-functional teams.
Coordinate platform configuration, integration, and implementation with business, technology, and vendor teams.
Partner with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans and roadmaps.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives.
Monitor program health and delivery performance; drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.
Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver quality outcomes and meet objectives.
Support governance forums by providing status updates, delivery insights, and recommendations.
Promote best practices in Agile/SAFe delivery, testing, release management, DevOps, and operational readiness.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
