The role emphasizes relationship building with underwriters and clients across the U.S. and abroad. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), an active license, and relevant designations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 15+ years’ related experience.
• Active state insurance license required.
• Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CRM or CIC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and design coverage solutions.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers to obtain appropriate coverage.
• Market client business to suitable carriers and submit quotes.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals.
• Maintain relationships with clients, underwriters and agency staff.
• Stay current on industry trends and products.
