Job summary

The Baldwin Group is seeking a Placement Specialist to assist the Placement Executive with marketing assigned accounts, maintaining relationships with insurance company partners, and tracking market insights and trends. The role includes providing training and mentorship to the Placement Coordinator and other teammates.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in marketing insurance services, possess an active insurance license, and be able to analyze benefit plans to recommend suitable client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4+ years of related experience.
• Active insurance license required.
• Maintain required state insurance licenses within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Market all assigned accounts.
• Audit and ensure compliance of marketing information.
• Mentor Marketing Analyst Team through coaching and training.
• Peer-review marketing work product.
• Coordinate service delivery on accounts, including placement and renewal strategy.
• Build strong relationships with insurance company partners and understand carrier requirements.
• Generate periodic reports for distribution.
• Identify opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processes; escalate issues to leadership.
• Serve as a mentor to colleagues.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
