Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Life & Group Insurance transformation teams. You will design target-state architectures, develop comprehensive solution designs, and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable insurance technology programs.

You will work across policy administration, underwriting, claims, and servicing, contributing to roadmaps and modernization efforts while leveraging cloud platforms and modern PAS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant consulting, architecture, or technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience across Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience supporting architecture and implementation initiatives on PAS platforms.
• Strong understanding of Life & Annuity value chain, including product config, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, claims, and distribution.
• Experience delivering architecture deliverables for large-scale transformation programs.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, integration tech, APIs, middleware, cloud-native solutions.
• Familiarity with platform configuration, data migration, and enterprise system integration approaches.
• Experience with onshore/offshore delivery models and client/vendor collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and architecture modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformations.
• Develop architecture artifacts, solution designs, and technical specifications across policy admin, underwriting, claims, servicing, data, and reporting.
• Translate requirements into scalable technology solutions with business stakeholders.
• Contribute to target-state roadmaps and modernization strategies aligned with objectives.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and draft technology recommendations and trade-offs.
• Support integration architecture efforts, including APIs, middleware, cloud services, and enterprise connectivity.
• Assist data architecture activities, including migration, analytics, and cloud-based platforms.
• Participate in architecture governance, reviews, and security/compliance.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering to ensure designs are implemented and standards met.
• Stay current on industry trends, cloud capabilities, and AI innovations; share best practices.
