Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Life Insurance-focused engagement teams. You will design and deliver target-state architectures for insurance transformation, working across policy administration, underwriting, claims, and servicing.

You’ll partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions, contribute to modernization roadmaps, and guide on APIs, data, and cloud integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 6+ years of relevant consulting or architecture experience.
• Experience across Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits is preferred.
• Knowledge of policy administration platforms and modern PAS solutions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformation initiatives.
• Develop architecture artifacts, solution designs, and technical specifications across policy administration, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data, and reporting.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Contribute to target-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and support solution option assessments, including technology recommendations and trade-off analyses.
• Assist with integration architecture efforts, including APIs, middleware, cloud services, and enterprise system connectivity.
• Support data architecture activities, including data migration, reporting, analytics, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Participate in architecture governance processes, design reviews, and compliance with enterprise standards and security requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented and standards maintained.
• Stay current on industry trends, cloud capabilities, and AI innovations, reporting best practices and accelerators.
