Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Consultant to join our Life & Group Insurance architecture transformation projects. You will help design target-state architectures, develop artifacts, and guide clients through modernization initiatives across policy administration, underwriting, and claims.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and stay ahead of industry trends, cloud capabilities, and AI-enabled architectures within a global, diverse practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant consulting, architecture, or technology experience.
“3+ years of experience across Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.”

Responsibilities

Support the design and delivery of solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformation initiatives.
Develop architecture artifacts, solution designs, and technical specifications across policy administration, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data, and reporting.
Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Contribute to target-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies aligned with business objectives.
Evaluate platform capabilities and support solution option assessments, including technology recommendations and trade-off analyses.
Assist with integration architecture efforts, including APIs, middleware, cloud services, and enterprise system connectivity.
Support data architecture activities, including data migration, reporting, analytics, and cloud-based data platforms.
Participate in architecture governance processes, design reviews, and compliance with enterprise standards and security requirements.
Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure solution designs are effectively implemented and architectural standards are maintained.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, cloud capabilities, and AI innovations, while contributing to architecture best practices, accelerators, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
