Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer to lead instrumentation and control system design for power generation, renewables, BESS, data centers, substations, and industrial projects. You will guide 3D modeling, BIM coordination, and interface with PLC/DCS/HMI systems.

The role requires 10+ years in instrumentation design within EPC environments, with expertise in P&IDs, loop diagrams, and field construction support. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Instrumentation Technology, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of instrumentation design experience in power generation, industrial, utility, renewable energy, data center, or EPC environments.
• Extensive experience supporting large multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects.
• Experience with power plants, battery energy storage facilities, substations, industrial facilities, or mission-critical infrastructure strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead instrumentation design activities from conceptual design through construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate instrumentation installations with process equipment, electrical systems, and facility layouts.
• Develop material take-offs (MTOs), equipment lists, and quantity estimates for procurement and construction.
• Mentor Instrumentation Designer personnel and review deliverables for quality and compliance.
