Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer to lead instrumentation and control system deliverables for energy projects, including power generation, renewables, and substations. The role requires extensive experience in instrumentation design, 3D modeling, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

The senior designer will mentor junior staff, ensure safety and constructability, and support startup through turnover documentation across EPC programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of instrumentation design experience in power generation, industrial, or EPC environments.
• Experience with large multidisciplinary projects and field verification.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of instrumentation and control system design packages for EPC projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve instrument location plans, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, junction layouts, and I/O schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams, perform clash detection, and support field verification and commissioning.
