Quanta Power Solutions seeks an experienced Instrumentation Designer IV to lead advanced instrumentation and control system design for power generation, renewables, BESS, data centers, and substations. You will develop P&ID markups, loop diagrams, and control interfaces while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams in EPC projects.

The role emphasizes 3D modeling, BIM coordination, and construction package development, with responsibility from concept through commissioning and startup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years instrumentation design experience in industrial, utility, or EPC environments.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects.
• Proficiency with P&IDs, instrument loops, and control interfaces.
• Strong ability to lead design efforts and mentor junior staff.

Responsabilités

• Lead instrumentation design for complex EPC projects from design through commissioning.
• Develop instrument location plans, installation details, loop diagrams, and cables schedules.
• Coordinate design within 3D BIM environments and with vendors.
• Perform clash detection and ensure constructability and safety requirements.
• Provide field support, RFIs, and as-built documentation updates.
