Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will guide control system design, from P&IDs to instrumentation sizing, while ensuring compliance with codes.

Expect cross-functional collaboration and mentorship within a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll deliver on-site startup support, coordinate with staff and discipline leads, and help shape options and optimizations for process control,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Demonstrated experience in mission critical control systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA systems, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Responsabilidades

• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document/model design information ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Design and optimize control systems for various processes in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate work activities with staff and discipline lead.
