Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will manage schedules and ensure the technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

On-site startup support and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control.
• Proven experience with mission-critical control systems (BMS/SCADA/DCS).

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks; coordinate with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and assist with discipline lead.
• Design and optimize control systems for various processes; develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
