Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for state-of-the-art facilities in a hybrid work setting across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation and document design information to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

You will lead multi-disciplinary collaboration, provide on-site startup support, coordinate with staff and discipline leads, and mentor junior professionals while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• 6+ years of experience with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with mission critical control systems (BMS, SCADA, DCS).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for multiple processes.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation and document design information.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate activities with staff and discipline lead.
• Mentor junior professionals and lead project teams.
