Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for a variety of facilities. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation while conforming to codes and standards. You’ll also lead multi-disciplinary work and support on-site startup activities.

The role supports a hybrid working model across U.S. locations, with collaboration across architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world-class solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
At least 6 years of instrumentation and control experience.
Experience with mission-critical control systems (BMS, SCADA, DCS).

Responsibilities

Design and optimize process control systems for facilities.
Develop P&IDs, valve sizing, and instrumentation specifications.
Document and model design information per codes and standards.
Provide on-site startup assistance and coordinate with project staff.
