Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for state-of-the-art facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

You’ll join a multi-disciplinary team, lead project activities, provide on-site startup support, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience with instrumentation and control.
• Experience with BMS/SCADA/DCS and critical facilities controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes and facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information to standards.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate work with other staff and discipline lead.
