Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead design and optimization of control systems for state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document modeling data while ensuring compliance with codes.

You’ll support startup on site, coordinate with staff, and act as discipline lead within a collaborative team. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in instrumentation and control, BMS/SCADA/DCS experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of instrumentation and control experience.
• Experience with mission critical control systems (BMS, SCADA, DCS).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes and facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation.
• Document and model design information while ensuring codes compliance.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate with staff and discipline lead.
• Lead project activities within a multi-disciplinary team.
