Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team on state-of-the-art facilities. You will lead design and optimization of control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation while aligning with building codes and industry standards.

This role offers on-site collaboration with architects, engineers, and designers, plus on-site startup support and mentorship as you grow your career within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document control system designs including P&IDs and instrumentation specifications.
• Size valves and specify instrumentation for new facilities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to meet codes and standards.
• Provide on-site startup support and mentor junior team members.
