Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer for opportunities across the United States. You will design and optimize control systems for diverse facilities, developing P&IDs, sizing valves, and documenting designs while coordinating with the project team and providing on-site startup support.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 6+ years in instrumentation and control, and experience with BMS/SCADA/DCS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Demonstrated experience in mission critical control systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA systems, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Coordinate work with staff and discipline lead; provide on-site startup support.
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complete solutions.
