Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for diverse industrial facilities. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instruments, and document design information while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
The role involves on-site startup support, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff. A PE license and experience with data center control systems are highly valued, with a hybrid work model
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
- At least 6 years of experience with Instrumentation and Control.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize control systems for various processes.
- Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Provide on-site startup support and coordinate work with team members and discipline lead.
- Mentor junior professionals and lead project teams.
